The Womanza Story: Jewellery, Made Personal

Womanza Designs began with a simple conviction: that choosing jewellery should feel like a conversation, not a checkout. We are a small, women-led studio, and everything we make and every way we work grows out of that one belief. This is who we are, and what we hold close.

A women-led studio

We are a studio led by women, guided by our founder Ankita Gupta. That shapes more than who signs off on a design — it shapes how we listen. We know what it is to want a piece that feels like you, to hesitate over whether something suits the occasion, to wish someone would simply help you decide. So we built the kind of studio we would want to buy from: attentive, unhurried, and genuinely glad to help.

Being women-led is not a label we wear lightly. It is the reason our first question is always about you — your saree, your celebration, the way you like to feel when you walk into a room — rather than about the sale.

Handcrafted, the Indian way

We make handcrafted Indian imitation and fashion jewellery. That word, handcrafted, matters to us. It means our pieces carry the warmth of being made by hand, in the rich vocabulary of Indian design — the antique finishes, the temple motifs, the play of colour and detail that has adorned women here for generations.

Fashion jewellery lets us bring that beauty within reach, so that a piece to treasure need not wait for a special once-in-a-lifetime budget. A set like our antique Lakshmi coin necklace with jhumkas speaks that heritage language, while remaining something you can actually wear and enjoy.

Conversation over checkout

Here is the part we care about most. We believe jewellery should be chosen through conversation, not clicked into a faceless cart. A cart cannot tell you whether the drop of an earring flatters your face, or whether a necklace will sit right against a particular neckline. A person can.

So we offer personal styling help over WhatsApp. Message us, show us what you are pairing it with, tell us the occasion, and we will help you choose — honestly, and with care. If a piece is not right for you, we will say so. That is the difference between a shop and a studio that knows your name: we would rather you love one thing than settle for another.

We are based in Bengaluru, and we ship across India. Wherever you are — a wedding in the north, a festive evening down south, an ordinary Tuesday that deserves a little shine — our jewellery can reach you. And because we work through conversation, distance never means you are on your own. The same care we would offer across a counter travels with every piece we send.

What we believe

We believe adornment is personal. We believe a piece should be chosen for you, not simply sold to you. We believe handcrafted work carries something a mass-made object cannot — a sense that hands, and thought, and heritage went into it.
